Women in Film and Television SA (WIFTSA) is a network of women dedicated to advancing the professional development and empowerment of women working in the film and television industry.  WIFTSA is an inclusive organization for women of all backgrounds. Our members work at all levels of the industry - from the owners of production companies to directors, entertainment lawyers, actresses, camerawomen, make-up artists and students. We are the South African chapter of WIFT international, an organisation that spans 14 countries and has over ten thousand members.

This programme offers talented documentary filmmakers coaching from fine-tuning the initial idea, through narrative development, the actual shooting, to the editing of their film and on towards festival platforming, marketing and release. Apply through the Binger website at www.binger.nl . The deadline is the 1st March 2010.

newspaper Hillside Digital is a Non Profit Organisation based in Johannesburg whose aim is giving a voice within the media to the voiceless and marginalized. They are looking for volunteers to assist with the training of 6 young people from Khayelitsha in video journalism so that they can report on issues that affect their lives and the lives of their community.
